The role

We're looking for a passionate, motivated and intuitive short-form video editor based in the Philippines to join our growing creative team.

What you'll do. Edit anywhere from 7 to 21 short-form videos a week, depending on the clients assigned to you: the video editing and the graphics that go into each one. You'll work alongside a writer on our team.

You're a good fit if

Balancing strategy and creativity is what you do best
You understand the hook, pacing, music, storytelling and visuals it takes to produce top-tier short-form content week after week
You've done this before at a high level and can show a portfolio of these edits
You understand US culture, so you can depict what's said in a video in a creative, witty way

You will be responsible for

Editing up to 21 short-form videos per week
Tracking the performance of your videos
Paying close attention to the comments on your videos
Staying on top of trends on YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

You must

Communicate clearly, written and spoken
Show proven success editing short-form content for account growth
Be fast and clear on Slack
Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and open to change
Have 2+ years of experience in short-form video production
Know Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects at an intermediate level or better
Be open to revisions and to growing

Hours, pay and benefits

Schedule

3–5 meetings a week · Sunday 5 PM CST deadline

Meetings fall between Monday and Friday. Every week of creation is followed by a revision week, where you revise any video as needed.

Pay

$750 – $2,000 USD / month, paid weekly

Depends on your skill level and the number of videos you edit each week.
